Daniel + Emily + A Garden Wedding

I loved this wedding! It was at a ranch in northern Utah on a warm evening a couple of weeks ago. The bride wore an unconventional dress with a wreath in her hair and I loved every second of it! She has this understated beauty. It's the kind of beautiful that comes without trying and I'm extremely jealous. And the darling groom was all smiles the whole day. They are a shy couple. The kind of people who don't like a lot of unsolicited attention. So I had to be sneaky when getting candid shots of them or they would get embarrassed. Super darling. Loved this day. Enjoy.

Mrs. Utah 2014!

I got to film the Mrs. Utah pageant again this year. These women are certainly a stunning bunch. I love being a part of all the sequins and crystals and makeup and hairspray. It's a girlie haven of sorts. These ladies work so hard to be a part of this competition and it definitely shows. Amazing job to all of the contestants!

Bright Night July 2014

This is a time when I absolutely love my job. I have the privilege of filming this gorgeous charity event for a women's shelter and it is such a total blast! They offer amazing classes taught by some of the top bloggers and Instagrammers in all the land. The incredible women who come to this thing pay a pretty penny to get in and enjoy the event. Mark + Mandalee + A Salt Lake City Temple Wedding

This is a same day edit I filmed the other day and it turned out so totally lovely. The weather was perfect. Everyone was smiling. Mandalee's dress fits like a glove. Seriously she looked bangin' in that thing. The music suited the mood of the event so well. Happy. Lovely. Chill. I'm supportive of the whole thing. Yes yes. Enjoy!

This couple. This day. Those blossoms. I... I can't. It's all too wonderful. Starting off this wedding season with a bang if I do say so myself. This couple is super inappropriate which made me happy because I'm always the most inappropriate person in the room. Not today. I was in very good company. This is a same day edit I filmed on Saturday. These people. These are MY people. This wedding was extremely close to my heart because of the folks involved. These things: Brette is so stunning that you might die. Or start crying. I don't know, something extreme. She's just exquisite. Colby had me laughing the whole day with his darling facial expressions and things he would say. A blast was had by all. One of the gorgeous bridesmaids told me I was good at life. So there's THAT. It was nice and warm, considering. All the guests thought it was cold. I chuckled and told them to give my December 21st bride a ring so that she could explain the meaning of cold to them. Overall a splendid day with lovely people. Many of whom I love dearly. I couldn't ask for a better job. I just couldn't. Enjoy this LOVELY song by Holley Maher - Hiding Place

Tyson + Audrey: Our Story

This was a fun shoot. These are the shoots that I could do every day and be totally happy. The weather was perfect. Light breeze. The location was great. The couple was attractive, stylish, and easy to film. Their story is cute. Yes to all of that. PLUS we got straight up flipped off on the drive up the canyon. Highlight of my day. We laughed so hard. I absolutely loved filming this couple. The weather was lovely. The couple was happy. The bridal party was a blast. Audrey has the cutest nose. I want to steal it. Tyson was a tough one to make laugh but I ended up getting so many awesome shots of him cracking up. I do what I have to do. Even when it's totally inappropriate. What a DARLING little family this is! Gorgeous little baby girl with big blue eyes? Yes please. I was mildly tempted to steal that baby and run on home with her. I've always wanted a little blue eyed baby. Not to say I'm not thrilled with the 4 sets of molten chocolate eyes that look up at me each day, but blue would have been a fun pop of color. Ah well. In another life. ANYWAY, this little family was too much fun to film. Easy going. Super candid. Constantly laughing and smiling. Happy people make me happy. And this song is perfection. Okay I love this video. Watching this video makes me absolutely love what I do. It was a blast to film and a blast to edit. This couple will always make me smile. First of all Jordan is so full of personality. I literally laugh out loud watching the footage back. And Katie is so dang stunning it's impossible not to stare. They are so sweet in the moments together when they think no one is watching. It's so refreshing to witness. Be sure to watch for Jordan and his brother and their antics. I die. Jordan + Katie + A Reception That Won't Quit

AHHH! Loved this reception. Here are the things I loved: The center pieces. The groomsman that turns his back on the picture taking when all of the others are posing like fools. The groomsman with the mustache that winks and flirts creepily with the camera. Katie's sweet dance moves near the end. Jordan's entrance to the underside of Katie's dress. Flower girls in fluffy dresses. Yep. Look for all of those things. Also look for me and McKenzie. I normally don't blatantly put myself in my couple's videos because they want to see their friends and family in their video, not me. HOWEVER! After vacationing together and spending so much time with this amazing couple, I think Kenzie and I totes count as family at this point. So there you have it. Enjoy.

Jared + Dallas: The First Look

Oh how I love to be there the first time a groom sees his beautiful bride in her wedding dress. Such a neat experience. These two have such a darling relationship. Jared is constantly making Dallas laugh which is so so fun to watch. You can feel their love. And how precious is the tea party in the orchard idea? I had the opportunity to film the Miss Teen Draper pageant a few weeks ago. Such a fun event to be a part of! These girls are bursting with talent and energy. I do not envy the judges their job! AHHH! Danica is so pretty! AHHH! AHHH! Such a stunning bride. Loved filming this couple. She had a french tip manicure because that is what Jantzen likes best. Um, precious. Love that. This bouquet might have made my heart stop. It's possible that totally happened. Something that also totally happened is the super seksy sunburn i acquired on this shoot. Nice red lines across my upper arms for your viewing pleasure. Refrain from being jealous about it. Die with me at how perfectly this song matches the footage and her eyes. All together now....

What fun was had at this here wedding! This couple was so cute and fun. Lots of goofing and dancing and cuteness with this couple. Things that happened this day: McKenzie (my best friend/photographer) hit a bird on our way to the temple. Oh dear. So sad, but mostly SO funny. The bride and groom dropped it like it was hot on the temple grounds. Always a plus. "Accidental" butt graze from an older gentlemen from another bridal party, again on the temple grounds. Interesting, but no thanks. Things I LOVED: The groom's daughter. She was such a precious little miss. So loving and smiley and happy all day. The bride's dress. To die for. The personal hair dresser coiffing everyone's hair perfectly into place. The bridesmaids' dresses. Heavens yes! This song. This song is perfection to my soul with this footage. MFEO. LOVE! Enjoy! I love this couple and their story. I love hearing what people have gone through in their lives to find each other. This groom is constantly joking and smiling.
